5 mins of Fame

Firstly I would like to tell you that the issue of Women's Own magazine in which I briefly feature is now on the shelves for all to see (including a cheesy photo of me). I am very much honoured and proud to have been able to spend the word of Ecotherapy and of Mind that little bit further, let us hope it touches even 1 person out there.

Secondly, during this week I have steadily gotten more and more mentally ill, resulting in a nervous breakdown and shakes and not being able to talk much or look after myself well. It has taken quite some time to type this and I am giving myself a horrid headache in doing so. Complete rest is the key and an appointment with my psychartrist in the morning. I tell you this only so you will remember that I too am suffering. I hope to share with you the bad days and the good, in that way you shall not be deceived into thinking Ecotheray is a miracle - it isn't but it DOES help.

I wish you a happy weekend and may all this heinous weather and hatred that Mother Nature is bestowing upon on Earth end soon. Keep warm my friends, keep healthy in body and mind and think of those less fortunate.

I thank you all for you rcontinuing support - you help me fight each day. Hugs xx

  1. Dear Dear Carrie,

Well firstly, very well done for your Womans Own debut!

I'm so sorry you've had a rough week. The weather has been dragging on hasn't it?.. and that does nothing to lift spirits. It's hard to find positives when you can't get out and achieve anything anywhere let alone the allotment.

I have seen a fantastic positive with the icy cold weather and that is the swine-flu has been kept in check by it - that is a good thing.

Another thing to enjoy are these fantastic natural bridges in India - Internet Ecotheraphy .... I hope you like the link.

  3. Sending you positive vibe for a quick return to form Carrie. Maybe some brighter weather and being able to start off some seeds will help?

  8. Carrie... that's nice. To be in Woman's Own is no little achievement. Well done and lets spread the message far and wide... about gardening, about ecology and nature. These are real therapeutic elements,... ~bangchik

  9. Dear Carrie, as a newbie on GYO just want to say how much I've enjoyed reading your blog and your posts. I'm so sorry you're having a tough time at the mo. Just wanted to say "Hi" and let you know that the bad times do pass. Now the days are getting longer the buds are swelling, and I am sure that you will be wanting to get to growing those seeds and hacking those weeds once we have better weather...

    Best wishes from Liverpool

  11. Thank you so very much for all my lovely comments. Tash the bridges were awe inspiring.
I'm still walking a very fine line with my mental health but I am more rested and this is the 2nd day of staying in my pjs. I've slept 2 nights in a row and a whole day yesterday so my body is catching up a little, just need to get my mind in focus and try to be positive about life. Hugs again for your support xxxxx
