ReplyDeleteGolly - a tough choice - I love English country garden flowers, and it depends on what time of year it is. At the moment it has to be my lavender bushes along the flower bed outside my back door. I just can't resist brushing my hand along the flower heads releasing that fabulous fresh perfume. I cut off some stems and put them around my home in little glasses - without water - as they give off such a summery perfume - on window ledges, on a coffee table with some cut roses, in an egg cup in the toilets, on my desk - just one 'sniff' lifts my spirits! (The of course I harvest them for all the usual lavender type things - bags, posies, coat hanger pouches - yes - I guess it has to be lavender at the moment.

DeleteA difficult choice, but I'm going to choose a fig plant. They are some of my favourite things to see in a garden. I've got some in pots and a couple of little ones that have just gone into the ground. CJ xx
ReplyDeleteI do love a fig plant… beautiful leaves and those funny fruits. I couldn't eat one but love the idea if photographing the fruits. Thus is a fun choice. Hugs xxx

My ultimate favourite flower has to be the tulip. At every stage they look so beautiful. I had these stunning big headed tulips this year, even at the end after storms they looked so pretty. The only way I could describe them was from the ending of a tragic opera. http://websta.me/p/728958308245807871_3895999
ReplyDeleteRhododendrons are my favourite, my dad bought me a white one which is beautiful
