Time in the garden means even more to you than to the average bear, I know, and it's wonderful that you can get your hands dirty and your heart lifted again.

That sense of connection you describe so beautifully is the prize, the great joy, for me. It sounds particularly heavenly to have experienced it entangled in bolting coriander. :)Meredithhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11454557080455458675noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8376693003192814341.post-9615455290522405392010-07-05T01:04:32.778+01:002010-07-05T01:04:32.778+01:00Wow, so cool! It's strange but I've often been miserable whenever I had to do a spot of gardening... but simply walking through a garden or a forest always calms me. I know, weird, huh? :PAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8376693003192814341.post-26037969812742846472010-07-04T22:10:59.494+01:002010-07-04T22:10:59.494+01:00How true gardening is such a rewarding pass timeHow true gardening is such a rewarding pass timeJoannehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12905137222286141548noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8376693003192814341.post-60560689342900828972010-07-03T18:13:39.065+01:002010-07-03T18:13:39.065+01:00Well done! We had garlic rust last year but if you just cut the green tops of below the infected areas it's okay - but bit late tellling you that now you have them all up :(
A friend uses namaste and I just like it so much I have started using it now and then myself.
Have a good weekend and kick those pests' butts! xxxCarriehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01475182740888543862noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8376693003192814341.post-85616885944027190002010-07-02T19:06:05.337+01:002010-07-02T19:06:05.337+01:00Hi Carrie, i'm glad you are back on track and ...Hi Carrie, i'm glad you are back on track and enjoying life again. I can sympathise with you about neglected plots scattering the weeds around you, I have the same problem. Now I have sawfly on my goosberry, only the green one so far, I hope it doesn't get to my red one. I have really bad rust on the garlic and have had to dig it up, but they are a good size. Oh and blackfly on the broad beans, so I think mother nature is giving me a run for my money (as the saying goes).
I noticed that you are using the Indian greeting 'Namaste' Have you seen the film 'Namaste London' if not get it out on loan as it's really good, let me know if you do see it, it's fun and full of colourful scenes and people and great music. Nice story too.
Have a great week-end.
M xmaureenhttp://mylottieheaven.blogspot.com/noreply@blogger.com
